Last ViewSonic I bought broke. Had to send it to warranty repair a total of FOUR times. The last three times they spent 30 days each to send me a BROKEN refurb. The last time they forgot ALL of my cables. When they finally sent my cables they forgot the DVI cable! I still haven't received my DVI cable... and the monitor is in the trash. A horrible, incompetent company that does not care about you.
If you buy this, you'd better hope you never need ViewSonic's warranty service.

Sorry to hear you had such a rough time. Mine has been going on strong now for 2 years. Maybe the newer models are crap? Quality can go down over time...

I had bought the monitor over three years ago so if you're right then I suspect the newer models don't even turn on. 
I think I'm going to get a Samsung or one of the Dells with that next day replacement service. That way I can send it back twice a week instead of having to wait 30 days.

Gliebster, how did it break? It just died one day? My monitors last an eternity... my hard drives on the other hand, they go down like the Titanic.
