I'd buy it if I didn't have my Creative W. Wi-fi is nice to have, but it's mostly useless in my opinion. I'd rather be using a laptop where I have wireless, which is primarily at home.

if you travel often, then this is ideal for you. if not, i wouldn't recommend it. you will not make good use of it, unless you travel often of course.

I have never seen the need to carry 160GB of content with me at all times.

The WiFi sounds kinda Gimped. Steam video from your home PC? If you got 160GB, and still have to stream video.

u don't have to stream video's from your PC, where are you reading that? It has a full Wi-Fi web browser (opera based I think?) and it can watch youtube video's and just about anything you throw at it. Streaming video's from your PC is just another option you can do, ON TOP of browsing the web on the Wi-Fi.

The one downside is some things (like the web browser) you have to pay extra for, like video packs that let you play certain video files. Check out the Archos website for more details.

This may also accept the Dish network DVR plugin that makes pulling content off the DVR a simple file transfer. Most of the newer Archos will do this but some won't check before you buy. If you like your video on the go it rocks.
