Good phone, unlocks in minutes. AT&T is unmitigated evil, so you can get the mitigated evil of a Tmobile card.

I agree with No. 3. The phone's a good deal, but you don't want to get tied up with AT&T, even with a prepaid plan. So, use up your airtime - or sell it, if you can - unlock and move on to another GSM provider as fast as possible.

Just saw on another web site that T-Mobile is again selling prepaid phones that include a free $25 airtime card. Prices start at $30, with the Motorola v195 probably being the best deal.
