Another, great entry-level dSLR. With a 2x crop in the four-thirds system, the lenses tend to be small. The typical, two (2) lens system is the 14-42mm (28-84mm equiv) f/3.5-5.6 and 40-150mm (80-300mm equiv) f/4-6 A more costly option, but wider and faster option (at the wide) is the 12-60mm (24-120mm equiv) f/2.8-0

Yep, body only. I was talking about the typical two (2) lens system that is added. Sometimes you can find the body + those two (2) lenses for under $600 too.

What will a cheap lens cost me?

If it's body only, it's wouldn't be a bad deal considering that it has optical image stabilizer. That should make the lenses less expensive given that most other brands have the image stabilizer in the lenses not body, no?

#5, I believe that only the E510 had the image stablilizer, not the 410, but I could be wrong - research before you buy.

In-lens stabilization has come down to be more competitive with Olympus, Pentax and Sony systems which use in-body stablization.
BTW, it's only the E-volt 500 series that adds in-body stablization, not the 400 series.
