Anybody looking at this is just throwing their money away. After it crashes into a million peices, you can take the radio out (if it wasn't destroyed) and put it in a RC boat.That's about all this thing is good for.

You gotta wonder why the creator of this toy thought it was so lame that 10 minutes is the absolute longest anyone would want to play with it. You're going to need 18 rechargables just to play for 1/2 an hour, so add another $45 to that cost.

Umm, lots of cheap RC planes can't fly very long, the 6 batteries are for the remote though which isn't limited to 10 minutes. That's only the small pack on the plane which is rechargable and probably included in the set though I'm not 100% certain of that.
Problem is, you probably won't be able to fly it for the first 10 minutes without crashing and damaging it so it'd probably be best to try it in a large unmowed field to cushion the crash landing.

#6, this is a fighter plane, which means you're the one ENFORCING the no-fly zones. altho i totally agree on the unmowed fields theory. i got one of the rc planes from radio-crap and the park/field i have nearby was not big enough - kept hitting the fences and trees -- so i cleaned up the plane and returned it the next day. what a waste of time.
#4, ever hear of WEIGHT? 10 minutes is actually a long time for a micro RC rechargeable to be able to fly. And the batteries in the controller can charge up the plane multiple times before needing to be replaced or charged themselves. i have the picco-z and it is perhaps the most entertaining $20 i've ever spent... well, except for... never mind.
