...i would recommend a windstopper jacket. wind cuts thru this pretty well. i bought a mountain hardware jacket to replace this one. but 60 bux is wicked cheap if you don't mind the color.

I know its cheap for a north face. I just wish they'd have a more killer sale. What model is your windstopper jacket?

Jump over to the REI.com store this evening. Their Aug 22 semi-annual sale has already started online. Many great discounts on jackets, including gortex shells. I just picked up a nice waterproof gortex shell and saved $60 on a $200 jacket.

I also saved $70 on a $290 Eagle Creek suitcase. Their server tends to crawl as this sale gets underway. Still running pretty fast right now.

Too expensive.

I don't see the deal.
