i got a hand-me-down wrt54G v.6 and put the dd wrt firmware on it. working great so far. tons of features and runs very cool.

I didn't see any mention of length of warranty on Buy's page, only the big "cannot return" lettering. Makes me doubt whether this would be worth getting, especially as they often show up brand new, on sale, for $40-ish.

I have had several problems with maintaining a connection to my router since a power surge, but it still works.
