Frys.com has the Lexar Platinum II 8GB Memory Stick Pro Duo for $50 + $0 shipping = $50 shipped. Also send for this $37 rebate [Exp 8/30] for the heck of it. Slam it into your Sony Digital Camera or PSP for 8GB of bliss. Maybe load some movies, or ISOs or something.

This is a really good deal considering what pricing was traditionally. I just picked up a 4GB SanDisk card for $20 shipped from Buy.com, which apparently is shipped on the back of a mule since it seems to take about 3 weeks for anything to ever arrive from those guys, but hey, cheap is cheap!

This deal has been discussed to death @ fatbacon. Rebate is GOOD, someone called the CSR at the number on the form. $13 shipped is insane!

Unlike a place like Newegg, buy.com does not carry inventory of anything. They're dropshippers, sending your order on to one of their suppliers.
This basically means that if someone has what you ordered, it may be shipped immediately (same or next business day) but if they don't have it, it could take a day, a week, historically even longer before they either have a supplier with stock that can then be shipped, cancel or you cancel. It also means a secondhand customer service experience since all they can do is check what their computer indicates and ask the other party what's up.
Personally, if something hasn't shipped from buy.com in at least 3 business days according to their website, I cancel the order unless I really didn't care when it came or the price was low enough to be worth the wait.
