40 is good, but 20 was much better for this crippled phone

The $20 deal didn't include the $25 Airtime card, plus an extra $10 with activation.

But that raises the question of why anyone would want to activate a phone with AT&T.

#4 I ask that too. If I could sell the airtime and activation for $25. I'll get one.

I saw a better deal on a similar one – I’ll see if I can dig it up

maybe the red one is 30-35. no i wouldn't even activate this phone but have to or else att charges $200+ after 27 days. i only need it to use with tmob. i don't know the minimum air time needed to activate. some say $5 worth, some say $15, att site offers minimum $25.

I got 3 of these so far. They are great phones if you don't want to renew your contract just stick your simm card in it. The sound is clear and I never drop calls. Very nice phone and easy to use.

So, No. 8, are you using your phones with AT&T or did you unlock them and move to another GSM provider?

great spare phone. i got this awhile back for $20 - $25 rebate = -$5 n unlocked(which requires two different carrier's sim cards). great deal =)

No. 9, I bought this phone for my wife few months back and it work perfectly fine. We have the old AT&T plan (pre AT&T/Cingular) and didn't want to downgrade to new AT&T plan (AT&T/Cingular), I stick the blue simm in and it work without needing to unlock the phone.
