Not quite symmetrical, only has a left-side thumb button where a lefty would tend to put their finger across making for accidental clicks and uselessness of that button.
Go Logitech. Not a bad price though but you can find a lot of discounted mice at the following, mostly open or whitebox oem regardless of some being called refurbs.
