This is a solid budget power supply, manufactured by FSP. It should be able to easily handle the demands of any mid-range computer, as well as some higher-end computers. Since it is a budget power supply, I wouldn't recommend stressing it to its limits, but it is fully capable of putting out the 500watts it is rated for.

If you've got any one of the less power-hungry graphics cards out right now(not the 280GTX, 260GTX, 4870X2, or 9800GX2), this power supply should be all right for your computer. But, don't try running high-end cards in SLI. If you can spend more, and you're running a gaming machine, do so, as just a few dollars more can usually buy a much higher level product. But, if you can't afford anything better, this is a good choice for this price point.

Note that this psu is pretty loud, the tiny 80mm fan always spins at 100%
