nice camera and nice price (~$70 less than it was a year ago at this time). Since it is only 3x, only the most geriatric need the IS feature on the newer Canon P&S cameras.

I took 8200 pictures with this in the last year as my point and shoot, now the lens wont pop out any more. It's about 120$ just to send it in... so instead I bought another for the 150, and i'll ebay the broken one for 50 "as is"

Great camera!!! This is my 3rd powershot sd.

If you buy any camera from Dell don't do the free shipping. I bought one on the 19th. Dell shipped it out quickly but DHL service is to be avoided at all costs!!! It's over a week and I'm fighting with DHL to deliver. Their website said it was out for delivery today but it's 9:30 PM and nothing. Their support line is a joke. I hope they didn't loose it.

Did anybody catch Ben on a recent issue of Entrepreneur Mag? He has a spread on Page 79. And yes, he does look like an Asian Richard Simmons (less the Afro). You guys should check it out. So that if you ever see him in real life you could say Thanks and then Ask for some money. (BenBargains.net is a Multi-million dollar company. That's what the Mag said.)

Back in March, I jumped when the deal from Dell was for $120. It was probably a pricing mistake as it only lasted for a few hours but they did honor the deal. Daughter loves it. If your in the market for one of these, it's still good deal at $150.

Just an FYI.. I did read somewhere that Canon dropped the retail price on the 1100IS to $199. Starting to see some deals come through on it for around $180. If it gets down to $150, I'll get one for myself.

I believe it- I've purchased many items through BensBargains.net and baconeals.net- if I've purchased some items, that means many others probably have too because I only buy online when the price is right
