I think these would help protect the foot upon impact.

ASICS are my favorite running shoes. These look pretty good and it's a decent price. I've seen a little better discounted price on similar ASICS, but if you haven't, you could do worse.

Quick poll... when was the last time you ran somewhere? I have a feeling that frequenters of this site are probably not that healthy.
Last time I ran was a month ago playing tennis.

^ "playing tennis" is code-word for "running upstairs from the basement to mom's refridgerator".

Nuisance - put the bacon triple-cheeseburger down for god's sake. You're getting ketchup, mustard, mayo, onion, lettuce, and cheese fries all over your keyboard again, fatso.

My friend, think before you post next time. "real life pic"? How would you know it was really a pic of me?
#14, I pulled that picture from the photo gallery of an obscure gaming convention and worked with Douglas Fur to plant it as a scam to fuck with nuisance_sucks. I even wrote the bio myself. You should probably get caught up, since you're about 4 months behind in your Ben's soap opera watching. Although a few real pictures of me have been posted recently which you can find if you search around. You are clearly not paying very much attention. But it's nice to know how many people bought that act. I deserve an Academy Award for that performance! If you doubt me, PM douglas_fur, the person who posted the "fat Johnny" pic, and ask him yourself.

I told you you did too good of a job with that pic and bio, nuisance. Most of your audience consists of social rejects and retards. You should have dumbed it down for them. But it was still fun while it lasted though.
So nuisance_sucks named himself the fat nuisance. What a fucking moron.

Um, about the shoe. For those interested, Asics and Saucony are excellent running shoes, and fit those who need a wider toebox (that is NOT nuisance's love chamber I'm talking about).
Nike and Adidas may make good shoes - but they fit narrower feet.
I do weigh more - about 250lbs. And I run. Which means I need a sturdy shoe, and this won't cut it. Check out Asics.com... The higher-level Asics running shoes have mid and fore-foot gel system for better shock absorption. For heavier runners, Asics also makes an extra cushioning system, and also gait control for the ankle's tendency to roll out on impact.
But, these shoes would be great for walking around in with an occaisional jog -- quite a bit more support than "walking" shoes.
