They should call it a DVR cooler instead.
It works great with my Directv DVR.
I just added some rubber feet to the corners.

te corners are made of plastic like most.
I like mine. It s more durable than most of the other ones I see listed on Bens Site.
It will at least double the life of your hard drive.

I got one of these and I am impressed with the quality (even the packing is good) This is solid and well designed and very sturdy and quiet.
