Fry's has really got to update their site. If you search through the memory category, the price for this is advertised as 10.99 after mail-in rebate.

One stick doesn't do any good unless you've got a match for it. Go for the 2 1 gig sticks.

#2, in the vast majority of cases, that is not true. It would ONLY be true if a board requires "dual-channel" memory.
