For those on a lower budget, my local Fry's is having a sale on the 42" 720P plasmas from both Samsung and Pioneer for $699. So check yours if you have one. Good low budget TV or secondary TVs for the bedroom.

Man, I love Fry's, especially with seasoned salt and blue cheese dressing.

Gee wiz, #3. That was such a funny retort. Much funnier then when we used to say it in 2nd grade.

i guess it is all in the delivery #10, but i think it was funnier in 2nd grade
#12   nuisance - Posted 11:53 am PDT 09/5/08 (6945 Posts)
Definitely funnier in the 2nd grade, but most likely because it involved nuts or boobs instead of fries.

I paid $1900 for this a couple months ago. Doh! It's a great TV. Doesn't have a lot of the extra features that the newer models have, but a really incredible picture. Plus, Samsung is consistantly rated has one of the best HD TV makers out there!

Australopithecus doesn't think its funny because he is still in the first grade.

#1 Pioneer plasma TVs low budget? Pioneer plasmas are top-of-the-line. If they do actually have the Pioneer for that price it's an amazing deal.

#15, Pioneer has several different models. While all of them are good TVs, this model is the low end. For a lot of people it might be awesome, but for most this is a low budget TV. They offered these 2 sets 2 weeks ago at this price too, but not last week when I drove all of the way out there for a CPU. Maybe I'll make a return trip.

Even the low end 42" Pioneer was selling for $1800 when I bought a Panny last December. It dropped to $1200 when they were clearancing it. $700 is an incredible deal on a killer TV.

price had jumped up to $1799 but is now $1549
