I don't know what the deal is with eWiz. This drive comes with a 3yr warranty from Hitachi. There is no mention of it, but I wonder if these are "new pulls or white lable oem's" that they have for sale. Either way, I won't take a chance on this deal. Also, price is average.

price is ok. you can get better. I do have two Hitachis in my current setup and have had no problems with them in 2+ years of RAID operation.
