These are very good speakers, but you will need a subwoofer. These speakers are triangular and are designed to hang on a side or rear wall. They have a very wide dispersion and should not be placed in a corner. So if you would put your rear surrounds in the back corners, this is not the speaker for you.

My Klispsch THX 5.1 speakers have had problems with the plug-in connectors failing over time to make positive connections, requiring constant jiggling of the jacks. The result is most of the time it's a 3.1 speaker set.
