Is the only difference between this and the prior EVGA 9600GSO deal ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130356 ) that this one has the single height heatsink?

The specs look the same on both EVGA & Newegg's sites and I'd assumed it just had a different heatsink thrown on but the PCB itself is also different based on 'egg pics.

Regardless, it's also a great price and this is a different rebate promo so even those who took advantage of the other EVGA 9600GSO offer can get in on some SLI lovin' with this deal.

    Here's EVGA's product page,

An ultra super deal, act quick before it's gone!

I just ordered it, will team up with the other card bought a few days ago in different promotion to SLi.

For only $73 on both cards and the performance closing to a GTX 260 with only one third of the cost, it's no brainer!

Great deal for a spare card - in 4 1.

This is an amazing deal. With this deal, and the one a couple days ago for $36, you could have two 9600GSO's in SLI for $73, with performance around that of the new, much more expensive, GTX 260.

I can't resist at this price, I'm getting a second one of these 9600GSO's. Time to give SLI a shot.

Word of Warning: Watch what Newegg ends up charging your credit card on this.
I bought this card last time it was $37 AR, AC - they charged me full price (didn't take the coupon).
Just be sure to check your credit card statement!

Use paypal then you can see immediately if them charge more than it should be. I never have problem with that..

Are you 100% certain the coupon code was being applied at the last stage of checkout? Check the online Order Detail or Invoice page to see if that total matches what was charged to the card.

#8 - Yes, I always doublecheck the final checkout page and it showed $86 ($100 - $14 coupon = $86). But, the confirmation email from newegg showed $100 was charged. Havent' gotten around to confirming the charge on my credit card, however. I may be creating a worry that's not necessary, since I haven't confirmed it with credit card company just yet.

sk8erboy, you shouldn't worry about it. I had the same email confirmation said the price was $99.99, but followed by another email said the charge was $85.99 (taken off the $14 of promotion). Then I checked my credit card account online, that was indeed the amount $85.99 newegg posted. So you shouldn't worry too much.

You can check online at the website of your credit card company in case you have any doubt.

#11 - It turns out that my credit card was charged properly - sorry for any confusion.

Hmm, not just out of stock but deactivated. Seems possible these were being cleared out though the double-height heatsink version is still in, or I should write re-stocked w/o any further discounts. Oh well, you can still get the slightly faster Asus version for $65 AR, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121251 or wait for another $50 AR or less deal.
