Amaz0n is $135, which makes this a good deal (assuming you want a Nano) considering Apples refurbs (direct from Apple) are impeccable and come with a new battery and full warranty. 8 GB is pretty small these days, but for a $100 you can't expect more.

No voice recording, no memory slot, no FM radio, horrible earbuds, and yes, you have to use iTunes. Nano's are pretty bare bones by todays standards. On the other hand, you get a nice but not spectacular screen, very good but not spectacular sound quality, and about the best build quality around.

i got my 4gb 3rd gen nano for free the other day.....(discover card promo)....really nice screen but its small capacity means not a lot of songs
