Stick with Eneloop sold by Amazon, more expensive, NEVER die, get the La Crosse BC900U battery charger where you see an LCD screen display the charge, discharge, etc.

Get the best stuff, NEVER throw it away, I have 5 year old eneloops and all the other rechargeables have died.

Kodak is actually a good brand. I think most batteries work the same. I usually go for cheaper as long as they're alkaline.

There are supposedly two types of these Kodak batteries. These green colored ones and a white or grey version. I bought these green ones and they are HORRID. Somehow they wouldn't work in anything (kid toys, clock, etc). So I asked for a replacement set and those are HORRID too! So avoid if they are truly the green ones.

On the other hand, always buy Eneloops when on sale. They are fantastic and work reliably. I can always use more so whenever I see a sale, I just buy.

I bought these green ones a month ago, and have not find any problem so far.
If you want to buy Eneloops, Costco has it on sale now, 12 battery plus charger for around $21

These are great batteries. I had this Kodak (green) batteries and a different brand that I had not used in 7 years. When I recharged them the other brand would no longer re-charge, but the Kodak ones re-charged without a problem.

Can't recommend "the bunny" rechargables from my wholesale club. They are dropping fast after a couple of years.
