Yeh, I thought these would cause tumorous lumps to appear all over your body, make your nuts burst into flames, and cause you to go blind. Am I wrong?

nalgene stopped using their formula because some chemical was in it
the chemical neither harms not helps humans, so yeah if you need a bottle
this is perfectly fine

the chemical is bisphenol-A (BPA), lexan bottles may leach it (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lexan). Use at your own risk.
