Dude, the way the market is doing today... I ain't buying shit for a while. Especially something that allows me to see movies a little but better. A plain ol' DVD player is A-okay right now. It's gonna be a fucking skinny christmas this year. I'm gonna be like that little cripple kid in the scrooge movie.

Agree, it will be a scrooge christmas for all.

for $50 more, you could/should just get an xbox 360...

Techsupport, if you have a nice collection of DVDs, consider a Toshiba upconverting (XDE) player...about $80 less than this old sony bdp-s300

But, hey, it'll be a great Christmas if you're a lending company run by idiots! I hear I'm giving them $2,300 this year! That's more than I'll spend on my entire list of family and friends. I must really, really love dumbass lending institutions!

Actually #5, that will be your children (or possibly your children's children) paying that money. And don't forget the interest!

How does spending $50 more to get an Xbox 360 satisfy the need for blu-ray?

    Yeah, I didn't get that #4...

You're actually donating to one of your neighbors who are not in a position to pay his/her mortgage. They deserve to be homeless but hey love thy neighbor! Lending company is just middle man.

Listen up, dumbasses... George W. Bush (the greatest President in history) has promised that every cent of the $700 billion will be made up when the assets being taken over are sold off once the market improves.

He made a similar promise about the cost of the Iraq war, so I see absolutely no reason why any of you idiot Libtard dumbasses should doubt him on this. *smirk*

remember all those stupid rebate checks that were distributed about 6 months ago. the idiot masses of our nation have serious amnesia. those checks never should've been mailed out. now the fed is taking it all back with a pork-loaded bailout. oh the woes of the impending inflation.

shame on you barney frank, pelosi, reed, obama, mccain, and bush. what kind of leaders are you? i love how they created so much panic just to make the idiot masses believe that urgent legislation [read pork] was needed to stabilize our economy

the president needs a line-item veto so that he can eliminate all the pork from this BS legislation

#8, while i'm a huge fan of sony's class leading CRT technology, i'm not a fan of sony's propietary media. yes, i realize that the market no longer wants CRTs (and has not wanted them for about 2 years now) but I respect the progress and innovation of sony in that arena. yes, i also realize that the medium is licensed to other manufacturing outfits.

Regulation started this mess, and the fools think that regulation is the only thing that can get us out.

The government decided that it was a good idea for mortgage companies to violate their own principles and take on unnecessary risk, so they shouldn't be surprised that extraneous risk eventually produces a crash.
