Why not the c580 for $2 more (on Amazon)? The c550 has three months of traffic for free, while the c580 has twelve months of traffic (and gas prices and movie times and weather) for free.

The c580 was $150 shipped a few weeks ago from Amazon, but it's up to $160 now.

I have the C550 and love it but I still agree with #1 that the C580 makes more sense. Either way you'll get a fine GPS on the cheap.

Ben really knows his stuff. I bought a c320 and left it on the dash as he suggested. Sure enough, I got a shattered window. I'm not sure what value his advice was to me, though. Any comments, Ben?

i too have the c550 a awesome one and i would agree with #1 and his comments

#3 - That is my concern with getting one of these. Are they easy to just remove and remount each time you exit and enter your car?

I have heard there are additional fees you can pay for extra features. What would those be?
