With CDRs brand practically doesn't matter, so just go for the cheapest.

not exactly true... right now i am on a philips cd-r spindle and they are TERRIBLE. half of them fail on burn.

Target just has a 100 pack name brand on sale for less than this. Not really a very good deal.
