As #3 mentioned, the faster load times for the next generation BR players will be nice. Many current models are slower than snot. It's worth it to stop by your local audio/video store and try one of these out before throwing down $200+ bucks to see how it works. Some are much better than others.

picked up a 1500 from the last deal.....works fine....loads fast....great picture....

Well, a drop to $150 for a last-gen player would be OK, but since I have a BD-ROM in my HTPC, I think I will just sit back and wait for the new-gen players to drop below $100. >Smirk<

might be worth half this price. Don't have any desire to buy BlewRay with all its problems. High-Def downloads are the way to go
