I signed up for the Chase Perfect Card-- the promotion is 6% off gasoline for the first 90 days then 3% after. Customer service told me (I called twice about this) that its 3% for the first 90 days then 1% after, regardless of the promotion I signed up for. A supervisor then told me I was going to get the promotion and customer service was wrong. Not sure if this was just a matter of customer service being misinformed, but you may need to make a few calls to get them to honor these promotions.

Chase BP card offer 10% for the first 60 days and %5 there after for all BP purchase. I’m lucky that a BP station around me is the cheapest.

If you don't want to be lock into a brand, then you should go with the Discover Open Road Card ... but be warn ... the 5% is only good for the first $100 per month.
