That's a pretty sweet price, too bad I just ordered a 1.5 TB. It was $50 off with an Antec 1200 case I was going to order anyway.

#1, Regarding external enclosures, I am very happy with the AcomData Samba SATA/IDE to USB 2. Three colors are available: black, red and blue. CircuitCity used to have them for $20 after rebate. Amazon.com sells them for $30 and Newegg.com currently offers $10 rebates for the red and the black (different rebates). I just wish Newegg.com would offer free shipping on them. The one thing that I am particular about the enclosures is the position of the power button. I don't buy any enclosure which power button is jammed in between the power cable and the USB cable.
