the unlock works just fine, the sound quality is a little on the cheap side.

This is the highest price they've charged for the A437. Nice features, but poor build quality. Flat (flush) buttons are stiff and crowded. Reviews are not too good either. For a spare phone, it's probably not bad, but I'd wait for a better deal.

Absolutely no deal here. Neither the phone nor the opportunity to become an unhappy AT&T customer is worth the price.
