Warning: these drives are crap and break easily. The rubber housing covers the memory chips directly, so if you squeeze the drive, you'll break stuff inside. There is no hard shell around the components inside.
Read the comments on Newegg or the OCZ forums to learn more about all the problems people are having with this drive. The connections inside the drive break so the drive won't power up, and sometimes the USB connector breaks off and is left inside the port.
Avoid this drive at any price.

i think the waterproofing is so if you leave it in your pants and you wash them it will still work
