    Been looking at the camera for a while now.
    Even though its minidv, its has been highly recommended as the best consumer camcorder for its price ($700-$850)one week ago.
    I'm definitely N41. Maybe 2.

    I hate paying tax($41)for an online purchase like dell!

    I know what you mean #1, I would have to pay over $280 in tax for the camera I want if I bought it from dell

    I think this camera uses HDV - which means its resolution is limited to 1440x1080, and not the full HD of 1920x1080

    It does use HDV but still the best picture quality you're going to find in a consumer level camera under $1000. PERIOD.
