when i picture a kayak, i picture rocks in the water... sharp rocks.. inflatable kayak = fail.

Crazy... I wouldn't trust something like this to hold up in any type of water condition..

i have an Advanced Element kayak that could handle class 3 rapids. toys such as this one definitely require use of personal flotation device, although multiple air chamber is a safety feature.

One would hope that #8 is using a PFD when they are in their Advanced Element kayak in Class III rapids. They make inflatable kayaks that handle Class V water and I've seen them do 30' waterfall drops.

Kayak pictured above is not intended or even remotely advised for anything over mild Class II use...unfortunately some folks that buy them try them out in Class III+.

I would get this if it looked more sturdy

I went down the Ocoee here in East Tennessee on an inflatable killer whale from Wal-Mart in 2001. Class III and IV. I was a guide at the time, so it was more like "on the job training" practically swimming the whole river.
