wow these dropped in price pretty quick. but that's typical apple right?

I've bought refurbs from apple before, good stuff, other than packaging you can't tell the difference between new.

Got one of these through a credit card offer for $6. In my opinion, the 3G nano is one of the best ipods out. Small, stylish, and smooth.

Well if it's an Apple refurb shouldn't it be at least somewhat reliable...? I've been tempted to buy an ipod for a while (i have the classic picture ipod *rolls eyes*)

I have bought refurbished in the past and have been nothing but happy. Includes same warranty as a new item. Give it a try if you are on the fence.

This is probably a good deal since a lot of people say that its refurbished but in good condition plus its only $100

I've had great experience with apple refurbs. I even have an old 3rd gen ipod classic that has been baked in the car just abotu every day for the last 5 years and is still running strong.

I prefer this model's shape to the new one. It feels more "compact" to me. As others have said, Apple's refurbs have a very high reputation.
