What is the benefit of going to 8 gigs if you have 4 gigs? What apps or games take advantage of 8 gigs of memory?

Nothing takes advantage of 8 gigs unless you have a 64 bit platform.

Before buying memories, look closely at owner's manual to see the maximum memory capacity your the mother board supports. And if you are planning to ADD new memories to existing ones, check with their compatibility.

This is a pretty sweet deal for those who want to exceed the memory cap on Windows XP.

Wow!! Sweet deal. I paid a fortune for these about 10 months ago. They work flawlessly and well. I am not sure what diff does SLI make but I am running them with SLI enabled (no overclocking) and they have perormed on my Nvidia 680i SLI mo-bo.
