This adapter is great, it small enough to leave in my laptop all the time and not have to worry that it will break off when I put my laptop into my case. Easy setup, but be careful as the CD it comes with is the mini style and does not work in all slot loading CD players (like mine). But I was able to copy the files on my desktop and run them from my network.
