chase sent me a letter saying I could do a balance transfer at 0% for my entire credit line, so i did it, and a month later they called and canceled my account. waste of time

I have a Chase PerfectCard. I like that the rebate is applied monthly... as opposed to my Amex cash rebate card that credits a (larger) rebate once every year.

I've never seen a company unleash telemarketers and junk mail (including mailing those checks that are linked to your card) on its own customers like Discover does. It's really annoying.

Citi Diamond doesn't sound too bad. I might have to open one up as my Citi AA one is about to start charging :-/

The Costco TrueEarnings seems to have the best rewards if you need a membership anyways. Just be prepared to hear "sorry we don't accept Amex" at a lot of small vendors!

Citi was great at first, but have been changing the terms quite frequently for me. But that is probably the norm nowadays.
