Tabet PCs are just a dumb gimick for the low level management types who buy impractical things to look cool on the airplane

Agreed, unless it's in the category more aptly named "touch screen laptops". A touch screen could be useful.

Can it compare with IBM tablets? I am not a big fan of DELL laptops. In fact I chose to go usth a used IBM x series when I was in school instead of a new DELL.

Multi-Touch = You can use a pen & your fingers. Don't get confused with apples touch technology that allows you to have multiple touch points on the screen (I mean the touch pad)

You're talking about resistance multi-touch, which is found in HP and Lenovo tablets.

Thank you for all the useless comments.
