Also, because you can stream from a PC on your network - don't worry about the hard drive only being 40GB. I have one and have never really used the onboard hard drive, other than the obvious system use.

Just because you can stream from a PC doesn't mean that 40GB is an acceptably sized hard drive. Apple was the first one to really go with expansive use of memory with the first iPod, now they just keep making the memory smaller and smaller.
