Inflatable mattresses make great guest beds because after your guests sleep on it for a few nights, the next time they visit, they'll be sure to pony up the $$$ for a hotel room.

a bit expensive but i'd say kick ass for people with simple needs and lofts and such

i bought and returned a few of these deluxe full size at Bloodbath & Beyond. they are comfortable, better than a foam mattress, but only when fully inflated. they leak air slowly.

I slept on the raised aero bed for a few nights. It's quite comfy and looked like a real bed.

This thing is not bad, especially with the build-in pump.

Great bed. Got it as a gift 2 years ago and it still hold air. Great for last min guests!

It's nice with the built in pump, but these things are still not comfortable to sleep on (but better than the floor!)

Put a thick cotton mattress cover on before the sheet, fill it to your desired pressure level for comfort, and it is fine, plenty comfortable.
Flip it over, smear Crisco all over it, and get #12's mom drunk, and it's an amusement park ride.

We paid 3x this for the same item from Bed Bath and Beyond - but that was almost 3 years ago. Great investment if you have guests frequently.

Definitely not worth a benjamin. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=3875912 and here is a list of a bunch of air mattresses: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/catalog.gsp?cat=133174
There are ones with pumps that take maybe 5 mins instead of the 60 secs, I dont think waiting a couple minutes is that big of a deal..

Similar brands for way less elsewhere. Dik's has their brand (maybe Coleman? I thought it was one with a compass as the logo...) and queen sized is around 40 bucks and comes with the plug in inflater and a seperate plug to keep from leaking. Still leaks, but very slowly. Camping, it's essential... we also took it to stay with friends for a wedding and were much better off than on the couches. Go to Wally world or a sporting goods store for cheaper.

#3, #15, #16, I own a coleman and an Aerobed and there is no comparison. The coleman can't stay inflated through the night, so it is truly worthless. They all leak air slowly, but the Aerobed will stay full for a few days. It is also very nice having the built in pump. If you want it to stay totally full, you just give it another burst with the pump every day. It also inflates faster and deflates faster.
