CR ranks Garmin and Tom Tom the best. I personally like my Garmin, but it takes up to a few minutes to acquire satellites if I am in a city.

Never tried Sony yet but Magellan and Garmin are easy to use. Navigon's interface is not as intuitive as Magellan's and Garmin's.
