If you liked the first crysis, you'll like this one. Everything is basically the same, and I noticed no "optimization" over the first crysis - so, it'll (still) kill your hardware.

will this run ok on a EVGA 9600GSO? i recently got one for cheap and it does a world of good over my other cards but i keep seeing that this game is murder on a lot of vid cards

Don't even bother with this. I think there is a total of 4 levels to the entire game. Too short even for $20.

#4-6: Should run fine on a 9600 GS0 assuming your other hardware is up to date and you don't plan to run it at max settings or at ridiculously high resolution

yeah, I've heard the same; need a top in system to really appreciate this game. Shame, really.

#3 - today's games don't take full advantage of quad cores. you're better off spending less money and getting a core 2 duo that has a faster clock speed. clock speed is more important than the number of cores for graphical performance, as of now. quad core is more for multi media where you're running lots of programs at the same time.
