I'd like to start seeing carbide sets with 2 each of the three smallest bits, I really don't need another set of the same sizes of phillips and regular screw bits and sockets that come with every set.

Who sells quality smaller carbide bits at reasonable prices? I mean if you can get a 40 piece set for $25, I'd love to get 40 carbide bits in various sizes 3/16" and smaller for $25 and have them be normal quality instead of Harbor Freight quality.

This looks pretty nice. Lots of bits, drill, drive, etc. Would this qualify for the lifetime warranty?

This is a decent set. Drill bits are not covered under a lifetime warranty for Sears.

i thinki he was referring to the forever warranty usually offered on craftsman tools

You still need carbide for serious work. "Coating" is about as strong as you would think.

do the bits have a life time warranty, it might be worth it if you can exchange them for free whenever they wear out.
