Pretty decent deal
150$ at walmart but new...
Should I wait for walmart to slash down prices a bit more?

Have one and use it all the time. It's great. Will get you to the right street, but sometimes it'll be way off on the street number. As #3 said, it doesn't have text-to-speech, which does make a difference.

I have the tomtom with speach and find it to be a novelty more than anything else. Even on long trips in unfamiliar areas I prefer to read the next direction then follow the actual street signs to prevent mistakes. I have had my gps for about 18 months and love it. I highly recommend it.

good gps but no tts. Garmin 350 on amazon is the better deal.

I bought this refurbished GPS and love it. I’ve had it for about a year with no problems. As for the rebate, document everything! Either they process the rebates with people who can’t read or write or purposefully reject it at first hoping you didn’t make copies and really don’t want the $30.

"refurb" GPS units are a bit of a scam, designed to get you committed to the brand. The unit probably has never been out of the factory, and has been loaded with map data that is from a year or two before the manufacture date. You get it, like the features, and then pay the rest of the price (and give the manufacturer their profit) by buying the map update.
If you live tend to go places that haven't had any development in years, you can live with the outdated maps. In southern California, forget it!
