#16 & #17, silly people these days...# 7 and #14's comments were so ridiculous that I caught myself thinking how and why you would 'charge' a hardrive... really, damn... stupidity is contagious.

This is a good idea if you have lots of HD laying around. However, you need to be careful not to bang the drives.

Man, there are some really clueless people out there. The cover is useless people, unless you like looking at cheap plastic. As to not having it screwed in, um, that doesn't matter either (nor does the angle of the drive). The more expensive drive holders with covers are for stupid people who like to spend more money and get the same functionality.

Though I wouldn't recommend slamming your drive into anything. Nice idea there Ben....NOT.

    #12:
Mount your HDD straight up is ok. A lot of Dell systems install the HDD straight up not stack over each other. So I guess it is fine this way...

Yeah, much easier than using an enclosure.

BargainHunter777 - you're the type of moron that, if in the financial industry, would cause an entire nation's economy to collapse. Oh, wait...

You can't make a straight line between 2 points and draw that out to infinity and have any chance at being right.

It was $26 last week. $3 price reduction in one week. In about 7 weeks it will be free, if they continue to keep this trend!!!

I prefer (cheap) external enclosures. What do you do with the drive once you are done slammin' and swappin' data?

I take it no one has ever used this particular brand? I was curious on the reliability of it. I'm in the market for an eSATA enclosure. Considering a NAS enclosure as well
