Yep, you should be able to get something equivalent for less than $50.

I bought the Desktop 6000 from Staples for $30. Ironically it works better on an Apple imac then the Apple keyboard and mouse.

Why are wireless keyboard/mice combos so expensive? It's a bloody keyboard/mouse...

I want to know what the hell kind of entertainment a keyboard and mouse provide.
Do they have a lounge act? Possibly they perform acrobatically? Maybe their coup-de-grace is "cord swallowing"?!

yeah, I would hope a $100 keyboard would have more impressive bullet points than the ones listed. It connects easily and flashes when the battery is low... yup, those are some cutting edge features.
In fairness, I have tried microsoft's comfort curve approach to keyboards and like it a lot. I'd pay $50, maybe 60 for this.

It does not make sence to buy a $100 keyboard&mouse. I do not think Dell is doing good business on this one.
