I have one of these, i got it for christmas. The first time i went to use it, sometime in march... opened it up only to find out that there was no fluid in the bubble level, so guess what? no level. I took it back to sears and before i could even say i wanted to return it, the guy at the desk knew about the bubble problem and said "let me guess no bubble right?" he went over to the shelf gave me a new one. I guess there were thousands of these sold without the bubbles, my question is who is doing the quality control for craftsman/sears? i mean how do you miss that!?

In the overview, it says it has ultra-bright laser. If that's the case, then why do you need the Laser Enhancing Glasses?

this item isn't bad. I would suggest getting a tripod or something you can easily level. Its not fantastic but it does the job, just like 90% of craftsman tools.

Nothing surprise me from the old venerable Craftsman brand, anymore. I bought a small Craftsman driller to put IKEA furniture together. Had no power.

If you need something like this, get the rotating lasers-so much better and you can work around the entire room, not just one wall. Works great with soffits.

until it hits something. The glasses help you see it when
it hits.

This looks like junk to me. I've bought craftsman products in the past and I've always had problems with the battery crapping out.

i am torn about this thing. as infrequestly as i would use it, if it lasted just a few times it may be enough of a timesaver. prob not.

Laser works fine indoors, but absolutely useless outdoors (unless you want to use it at night).
