what is up with Microsoft wireless keyboards that are all OEM and recertified? Can I trust these things?

I've had MS wireless keyboard/mouse for several years now and no problem. Wireless is nice.

Is this better than the Logitech deal just posted by Ben for $45?

i have this keyboard and mouse for about 1/2 a year, and the keyboard is great..but the mouse isn't all that. it's not as responsive and the scrolling is hard to config.

I've had one of these for awhile. Sure is great not having to hassle with a corded mouse. I'm on the computer a lot so battery life on the mouse is about 90 days for me. Haven't had to change keyboard batteries yet.

I've used one of these in the office for a number of years and have had no problem. Just make sure you have extra batteries around, just in case.

Why can't manufacturers come up with a single standard for receivers, even within their own company. I hate how I can't mix/match wireless mice and keyboards without having a bunch of obtrusive receivers.

I've had a Microsoft Wireless Keyboard and Mouse for a couple of years on my dell. The driver interferes with the screen saver. So, if you get one of these and you have a Dell computer, your screen saver may not come up. I like the screen saver because it shows family pictures. Burn in is no concern with my LCD monitor.
