I feel like I should have purchased this years ago at ~$80 so I can gripe about how much of a ripoff it was.

So, would you not recommend this? I am looking for something to hook my Sansa mp3 player up to.

These sound great for a small to medium room. I have 2 of these. Make sure that it has a plug for the Sansa. It's designed for the iPod. This is a good price.

Make sure that your iPod is compatible. All iPods/iPhones will play through these, but the unit will not charge them. Also, some remote functions might not work. Guaranteed NO compatibility with iPod Touch 2G. These are great sounding bedside units and all 3 generations of onstage that I own work great.

I have the OS II, and it charges my 1st Gen iPhone, 2nd Gen Nano, 1st Gen iPod video. The iPhone produces GSM feedback (which my wife hates). Sound is great in context.

How about the new iPhone? Anyone have any problems with it?

#5, incase you dont alredy know, you can put your iphone in airplane mode to prevent feedback when the wife unit is around. Down side is you won't be notified of any calls/text until you go back to normal mode.

Doesn't look like it'll deliver great sound

WTF did Apple do to the Itouch anyway? Same adapter, but recent chargers aren't compatible and other foolish stuff like problems using WPA.

Glad I just picked up an iTouch to play with instead of sheeping over to an iPhone only to discover that the non-replaceable battery is dead after 2 hours, there's no cut and paste, many "standard" accessories don't work, and it freezes up and crashes more often than Sarah Palin's brain.
