Holy flying cats! I've been pricing a 46" screen for months. Now, for a few hundred more, I can get a 52"? Whoa!

At Costco there is a deal for two(2) 46" Aquos LC46D64U for $2000.

That is like buy one get one free almost.

I have the 46" Aquos and I'm loving it.

585 Million Dollar charge to some TV makers for ripping us off over the past several years. Bastards!

This thing is going to be less than $1000 on Black Friday, check the ads.

Also, it's kind of pointless to buy this now if it doesn't have 120hz refresh rate. Without it, regular HDTV may as well be viewed on a 1986 Apple monochrome monitor.

I got this TV last year for about the same. Price should drop after Thanksgiving since Sharp's newest line is the Touch Of Color - 46" around $2300.

Free shipping - That's pretty good. These things have to be pretty expensive to ship.

I was seriously considering getting a new LCD but after living with one for awhile, it's apparent that they aren't up to the quality of plasma. My friend got one and he says it makes old movies look like a cartoon. The picture is sharp but kind of phony looking.

On a reallly good 1080P display, a 480P movie often looks almost too real rather than phony. Because things close up will look better than things in the distance, there is almost a 3D effect. It takes a litte getting used to.

Sharp only started making 120Hz model and this one is not it.

this tv is 60hz, buy 2 then you'll get 120hz

120Hz, while nice, is not a deal breaker for me. I can live without it. I kinda prefer it. Besides, it's cheaper.
