Ordered 2x8GB original Sony brand from some guy in HK on E-bay for $40 total. Still waiting for the sticks to arrive. It is incredible how they can sell this stuff for this cheap. Think about how much freaking money the retailers are making out of these.

#5 are you sure those are not counterfeit Memory Sticks? Those use cheap flash memory that are slower and holds less space. Not to mention the cheaply stick-on sticker with Sony logo and name will come off or jam your MS in your device since it made it thicker than official MS. Sellers from HK are infamous for selling self-claimed "official" MS dirt-cheap on eBay.
